Associate Professor, English
Nan Da is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and holds a concurrent appointment with the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. She received her BA from the University of Chicago and PhD from the University of Michigan. Her specialty's are in: Comparative Literary- and Critical Theory; Nineteenth-century American literature and literary history; Chinese literature and literary history; China-West relations; History and Praxis of Literary Criticism. Her research and pedagogy focuses on American and Chinese Literature as well as foundational concepts from China and Western literary - and social theory.
