2015 US Midwest Chinese Bridge Speech Contest and Forum on the Teaching of Chinese Sounds

Location: DeBartolo Hall and Morris Inn

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame will host the China Bridge Speech contest on Saturday, April 18th. Notre Dame students will compete against other regional university students. There will be an awards ceremony following the contest. The contest will conclude at the Morris Inn ballroom with a banquet and entertainment. Registration is open January 20–March 16, 2015.

The U.S. Midwest “Chinese Bridge” Speech Contest promotes Chinese language and culture education in the Midwest and strengthens exchanges between college-level Chinese programs in the region. We look forward to your participation. Eligibility All undergraduate and graduate students of Chinese language in the Midwest and Great Lakes areas are eligible to participate. Heritage speakers of Chinese who came to the U.S. after the age of 13 are not eligible.
