Korean Program
노틀담대학교 한국어 프로그램에 오신 걸 환영합니다!
(Welcome to the Korean program at the University of Notre Dame!)
Since its establishment in Fall 2008, the Korean program has offered two levels of Korean language courses, First Year Korean and Second Year Korean. Advanced Korean for Heritage students and a content course, Introduction to Korean History and Culture, have been added to its curriculum. In response to student demand, the program launched the Korean minor in Spring 2010; our first three minors graduated in May 2010.
In addition to the solid academic foundation provided in the classroom, the program hosts a number of extracurricular events for students to experience Korean culture, such as our annual Korean Alphabet Day in fall semester and our Korean New Year celebration in spring semester. The Korean program also runs weekly Korean movie nights and tutoring sessions throughout the year.
