Juhn, Hye-jin (전혜진, 全惠珍) has a Master's Degree in Library & Information Studies from the University of British Columbia, and a Master's Degree in East Asian Languages & Cultures from the University of Washington. As the subject specialist for East Asian Studies at the Hesburgh Libraries, she researches and selects resources in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English, and assists students and faculty by locating and organizing resources needed for their studies, research, and teaching. Her research interest is in library services to promote reading activities for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language learners. In the summer of 2013, at the Second Sino-American Academic Library Forum for Cooperation and Development (第二届中美高校图书馆合作发展论坛) in Lanzhou, China, she gave a presentation entitled “Building a Japanese Studies Collection and Providing Services that Meet User Needs.” She is a fellow for the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies. She occasionally teaches Korean in the Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures.
