2014-2015 Language Tables include Japanese and Korean

Author: Denise Ayo

These “roundtable” discussions are an opportunity for individual language programs to regularly bring their students (and invited guests) together within a more comfortable social context in order to practice oral language proficiency and build community through conversation, culturally meaningful activities and good humor. Although each language program develops its own language table cultures, most groups feature faculty and graduate students as conversation leaders and incorporate conversation themes and semi-structured activities alongside refreshments.
